- Ask yourself:
- Do I need to eat?
- Dehydration or hypoglycemia contribute to anxiety, depression and irritability.
- Do I need to go to the bathroom?
- That ‘too busy to pee’ feeling keeps the stress response activated.
- Do I need to sleep or rest?
- Lack of sleeps makes us more reactive.
- Do I need to move?
- Exercise detoxifies and moves stress chemicals out of the body.
- Do I need to connect with someone?
- Connection heals and calms the nervous system.
