Overview
The RockVIU Connect Fair Lead is a pivotal role within the RockVIU student orientation program, responsible for spearheading the organization of the RockVIU Connect Fair. This position requires an individual with strong leadership qualities, as they will be leading a team to ensure the event is executed smoothly and effectively. The duties include planning the fair's logistics, coordinating with vendors, managing budgets, and overseeing the setup and takedown of the event. The Fair Lead is expected to communicate effectively with team members, other student organizers, and university staff to align the fair with the overall goals of the orientation program. Additionally, the role demands excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the planning process or the event itself. The RockVIU Connect Fair Lead must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure to create a welcoming and informative experience for new students. This position not only contributes to the success of the orientation but also provides the individual with valuable experience in event management and team coordination.
