Convocation: Offer to Assist or Request to Attend
Please complete the form below if you are willing to:
- Help as a marshal
- Help in another support role
- Show your support by wearing your regalia, participating in the VIP procession, and sitting in the faculty/VIP reserved section of the bleachers
You can select more than one ceremony on your RSVP form. View the schedule of ceremonies.
Regalia: Marshals and those sitting in the faculty/VIP reserved section of the bleachers are required to wear regalia. If you do not have your own, you can rent regalia from Gaspard by May 3, or contact grad_sales@gaspard.ca to purchase regalia.
If you would like to attend in the audience without regalia you do not need to submit this RSVP form and you do not need to wear regalia, but you will need an audience ticket.
Email us at Convocation@viu.ca to request an audience ticket. Please include how you want your ticket delivered to you (interoffice mail, Canada Post, or hold for pickup in Building 200). Audience tickets will be available at the end of April.
